Mary Cecil Hay was born around 1840 and wrote at least nine full length novels, all of which are included here. She also produced at least six volumes of short stories or "tales", some of them quite substantial. Her style is straightforward and often exciting. Our intention is to include, where possible, djvu versions of the first editions. Wherever such is unavailable the closest available alternative is provided. A suitable djvu reader may be down-loaded here: www.cuminas.jp/en/downloads/download/?pid=101) Hidden Perils (1873, three volumes) MCH0102) Old Myddelton's Money (1874, three volumes) MCH0203) Victor and Vanquished (1874, three volumes) MCH0304) The Squire's Legacy (1875, three volumes) MCH0405) Nora's Love Test (1876, three volumes) MCH0506) The Arundel Motto (1877) MCH0607) For Her Dear Sake (1880, three volumes) MCH0708) Dorothy's Venture (1882, three volumes) MCH0809) Lester's Secret (1885, three volumes) MCH09
