British Guiana (now Guyana) is a small country on the northern coast of the south american continent. It is bordered by Brazil, Suriname, Venezuela, and the Atlantic ocean.
England grasped the country from the Dutch in 1796 and first ruled all three Guianas as Essequebo and Demarary, and from 1837 the three little Guianas in a row became French Guiana (Cayenne), Dutch Guiana (Suriname) and British Guiana. Finally in 1966 that British part was renamed Guyana.
Population: about one and a quarter million

The pleasures of homosexualism are against the law in Guyana, as they shamefully were in Britain itself (the mother-country) until very recently.
