Picture Postcard three
On the reverse of this card we read "MANA ISLAND, FIJI. 20 miles west of Lautoka. A truly idyllic jewel in the Pacific, where white beaches border a beautiful lagoon."
I have been only to the main island of Fiji, which is nice, except that it is difficult to walk up the central hill for fear of the dark and muscular men who roam the isolated tracts. But the island here portrayed has no appeal for me, who am no admirer of "beaches".
