Matilda Betham-Edwards - almost everything

I was looking for a writer with a conveniently sized production, and in Mr. Sutherland's book Matilda Betham-Edwards, with eleven novels, looked about right. But as it turned out there are not eleven but at least thirty-two novels, and a further fourteen or so travel books and other interesting items. Also, her Wikipedia page says that she wrote many books for children, but I have found not one.
She was born in Westerfield (just outside Ipswich) in 1836, and became particularly fond of France and Algeria. Here is her photograph, and it will be noted that she for one is respectably covered as should all ladies be.
