ABC Classic FM [Sydney]Method 1: Go to radio.abc.net.au/stations/classic/live and click on the arrow when it appears. Method 2: www.abc.net.au/res/streaming/audio/mp3/classic_fm.pls (mp3 stream) Method 3: www.abc.net.au/res/streaming/audio/aac/classic_fm.pls (aac stream) -ooOoo-Category: art-music Programme schedule: www.abc.net.au/classic/music-listings/It is also possible to download a pdf "schedule", but expect it to be full of errors, omissions and inadequacies. Location: south of the east indies Language: English Local time: between GMT + 8 and GMT + 11½ Audience: 25 million Lasting interest: 2 stars How to record it: Paste the stream given at Method 2 into the VLC player, and click on the red record button. Sound quality: Method 2 (recommended): sample rate: 48,000 Hertz, bit rate 96 kb/s. Method 3: sample rate: 48,000 Hertz, no stated bit rate with AAC but sounds poor Listen later: I don't think there is any. One may search for "programs [sic] presenters or topics" but not for "composers" or "concerts" so it appears to be a fake. The whole service is a good deal worse than BBC "Radio 3", even. Every now and then they do broadcast recorded concerts of contemporary music from Europe.
