Curious experiences at the R 3 forum

1) About a week ago I changed my profile there to reflect a new email address.
2) Then the following day I thought I would look at the profile to see whether the change had "stuck." But I was informed by the forum software that I did not have permission to view "that page" (i.e. my own profile!)
3) So I sent a PM to Miss Frank about it - this was about a week ago - but have received no response.
4) Then to-day I logged in and attempted to post a message, but the following was displayed:
"You may not post new threads
You may not post replies
You may not post attachments
You may not edit your posts."
Which is all very odd. I do not think I have done anything recently that Miss Frank might find disagreeable; it is more likely to be a software glitch that happened when I changed my profile. I wonder whether she has received my PM?
