Arts Council England facing cuts of up to 15%

Latest suggestions hint that ACE is being faced with cuts of up to 15%. These translate into cuts of 45% at the delivery end of the grants scheme.

Some models for how this cut might be applied have projected the 100% sacrifice of one of the "top five" - the ROH, ENO, the South Bank Centre, the RSC, and the RNT - as the 'sacrificial lamb" which will save the smaller recipients.
