Good morning to you all! I trust that all is well with all of you! As is normal at this time of the morning, I have just been listening to Petroc Trelawny introduce ' Breakfast' on BBC Radio 3. BBC Radio 3 - Breakfast - Wednesday - Petroc TrelawnyPetroc reminded me that it is Richard Wagner's bicentenary today. It made me reflect on what has happened over the past two hundred years (1813-2013). Times are changing, Sydney Grew! So are we!

It's certainly indicative of the far-reaching influence of classical music and opera that Wagner remains a modern bogeyman - two centuries after his birth!
No doubt the witless girlies in the Guardian will be philling space with their views of a composer... whose work they have never experienced.
More bagels, anyone?
