Picture Post-card forty-seven
From the reverse:
National Palace Museum located in the scenic suburb of Waishuanghsi 20 minutes from downtown Taipei, the museum has the world's largest collection of Chinese objects [sic] d'art, totaling [sic] more than 240,000 items, representing the essence of Chinese culture spanning more than 3,000 years.
The expression "downtown" is a curious adjective in a number of dialects, signifying "of the city's centre". And "totaling" is just a mistaken spelling of "totalling" that "caught on" somehow among the ignorant oafs and trollops of the trans-Atlantic population, and thence made its shameful way to Taiwan.
