Pilatus-Kulm (2132 M.ü.M./7000 ft.) Flugaufnahme. Blick auf Vierwaldstättersee, Rigi und Bürgenstock
I succeeded in accomplishing the ascent of Pilatus only on the fourth attempt, and descended by cog-wheel railway after consuming a chocolate bar.
The elevation above sea level of one's starting point on the shore of Lake Lucerne is 1,424 feet, and the summit of Pilatus is 6,982 feet, giving a difference of 5558 feet. One's zig-zag track may be discerned on the card.
