Picture Postcard fourteenIn 1971 this was sent me from Tangier by an aristocratic Philippino an aquaintance with whom I had had the great pleasure of forming in an Amsterdam steam-bath a year or so previously. A year or two after this trip he went to study Art in one of those horrid trans-Atlantic places - new "York" they call it - where he very kindly put me up for a mid-winter night. So I owe him a great favour, but to my continuing regret have lost touch. His sister was a concert pianist and I have written to her but have received no response. I myself have never been to the Maghreb; it is though much visited by Englishmen of a certain leaning. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tangier
