When I began this, I had the idea that I would collect simply two links for each station: one to play it, and another to display the programme schedule.
But a few further items may be useful, so here is a template of what I am currently attempting to collect for each station.
Station name and city link to play it -ooOoo- Category: link to its Programme schedule: Location: Language: Local time: Audience: Lasting interest: 1 to 6 stars How to record it: Its sound quality: Listen later method, if provided:
Each of these items is easy to discover, except for "how to record it". Sometimes that too is easy, and at other times its unearthing can require hours of tinkering. So from now on I am sometimes going to leave this "how to record" item until later, and will go back to collecting the other information as quickly as possible, so that our list of stations will go back to growing quickly.
Some stations do not publish an intelligible schedule, or they play only five-minute snippets, so they will not be included at all - Norway (NRK Klassisk) is an example - can any one make head or tail of their schedule?
But in general there is so much available - for example RTHK4 Hong Kong has a whole year of "Listen Later". So that is another requirement - a search. - for Atterberg or Delius or even Sorabji for instance.
Oh and we would still like to see your comments suggestions and additions, please!

In what context "wrong" kc? Do you mean their misplaced emphasis upon illiterate announcers and announceresses? Or the sound quality? Or the lack of access world-wide? Or their persistent transatlanticisms and snippets? Or the fact that - at least as far as I know - they no longer regularly broadcast any ragas?

misplaced emphasis upon illiterate announcers and announceresses? When it should be on "composeresses"?(!)... persistent transatlanticisms and snippets? I've no idea what's meant by the former but, in certain programmes, there's too much idle chatter and encouragement to audience "participation", certainly - but tht does not affect the channel as a whole, only certain prograames that it broadcasts.

If I may address all your questions directly, Sydney: In what context "wrong" kc? Do you mean their misplaced emphasis upon illiterate announcers and announceresses? Or the sound quality? Or the lack of access world-wide? Or their persistent transatlanticisms and snippets? Or the fact that - at least as far as I know - they no longer regularly broadcast any ragas? Curiously, they did just broadcast ragas on Radio 3, although to be fair, it was by no means regular. BBC Radio 3 - Music Matters - Ragas, rhythm and rendering improvisationAs for the rest, well, I concede that everything could be wrong with Radio 3, as ahinton also points out. The BBC has been experimenting with jazz: BBC Music JazzAnyway, in the context, I am wondering why listen to Radio 3 when there is so much choice available elsewhere, both online, digitally, and off? Perhaps technology will change everything, and the BBC will not be able to survive!
