"Sous le sable" means "under the sand", but I do not at present know what significance the phrase carries in this context. It may or may not refer somehow to Ozon's 2000 film in which a woman loses her husband. The opera is sung in the Spanish language, and the libretto derives from a text left by Lorca. This performance - its first - took place in Madrid on the sixth of March 2015. The orchestra is the Klangforum Wien. Sample images:
