Invoke is a dream to use, simply say ... go off and do these 2 things, in parallel, if you can'
Parallel.Invoke(MyMeth, MyMeth2);
It scales very well, in the background, to the number of cores available, and, more importantly, it handles it well if not enough cores available, for example, with this kind of thing
Parallel.Invoke(MyMeth, MyMeth2, MyMeth3, MyMeth4);
