We are still waiting for what will or (preferably now will not) happen on Friday afternoon, but in the mean time we might ask members whether the Gernans still do butter ships? There is nothing in Wikipedia . . .

Is this what you mean by a butter ship? This coming Friday afternoon, we shall be going out for luncheon, Uncle Henry. I doubt that you will be able to join us in person, Alistair, but here are the details: La Dame de Pic LondonWhat about Jason? He most definitely is a man about town, so the hotel and restaurant should appeal to him! We plan to arrive at around high noon (12:00) and eat until three (15:00 BST). Throughout her career Anne-Sophie Pic has bucked tradition. In the place of formal culinary training, she has been led by a strong sense of intuition and an innate sensitivity. Here, Anne-Sophie brings this unique and powerfully-personal culinary perspective to London for the first time. The menu at La Dame de Pic London will showcase Anne-Sophie Pic’s unique culinary identity. Her food is an expression of her essential understanding of flavour; where taste combinations that once were unexpected are brought together to create something that is instantly and inherently understood in the eating. Anne-Sophie Pic’s sensibility and the intimate atmosphere of the dining room come together at La Dame de Pic London to bring the emotions that flavours and aromas conjure within us to the forefront of each guest’s dining experience.

On another topic, still no PM, I note...
