Yes, I believe that the Pope is a Catholic. I am not, since you ask. That said, I see no problem with this provided that it is medically safe and I do believe that, rather than simply purchasing something over the counter, women should consider first visiting their GP to discuss the matter; OK, time is very much of the essence but there are NHS walk-in centres. Much publicity has of late attached itself to an UK politician which discretion prevents me from naming here who has declared his opposition to abortion in all circumstances including as a consequence of rape; he has also announced his opposition to same sex marriage, a stance which is effectively contrary to the law of the land. His bizarre and bizzarely insensitive views on these matters are about as repugnant and repellent as any to be found in the annals of power in Westmonster.
