' The Financial Times' leads tomorrow with some editorial comment that carmakers accelerate into an electric future. The salmon pink newspaper concludes that the pressing question for auto executives is can they make money? Can they, Slightly Optimistic?

To all those who came along to the British Film Institute (BFI Southbank) at the weekend, thank you very much indeed. The film was good, but the company so much better! The food and drink were superb, Uncle Henry. ' The Times' leads today with some editorial comment on a sun trap. ' The Times' thunders that the future is bright, Uncle Henry, even when it’s not! Do you have solar panels in Herefordshire, Alistair?

' The Financial Times' leads today with some editorial comment that Boeing seeks protection in the guise of fairness. The salmon pink newspaper takes the view that punitive US import tariffs on Bombardier aircraft are unreasonable. The FT is quite right to argue the case against such an example of narrow-minded protectionism in the United States of America (USA). Americans should want to compete on a level playing field, Uncle Henry!
